Steinberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Rhode Island Foundation. The Rhode Island Foundation works to address the needs of Rhode Island’s diverse communities through philanthropy, grant making, and community leadership.  In 2015, with assets of nearly $800 million, the organization raised $43 million and distributed $41.5 million in grants.\n \nNeil Steinberg came to the Rhode Island Foundation in 2008 from Brown University, after serving as vice president of development.  In 2016, Providence Business News named him one of the 30 Driving Forces of Rhode Island’s business community. In 2015, he was bestowed with an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters by Bryant University, and received Providence Business News’ “Corporate Citizen” Business Excellence award. In 2014, he was named one of the 10 most influential leaders in the region’s business community by Providence Business News.
