Gladding, CPA.  As Chief Investment Strategist at Washington Trust Wealth Management, Kent Gladding is responsible for strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions affecting over $3 billion in client assets.  Kent has been with Washington Trust since 2009, coming from his role as Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Citizens Bank Wealth Management.  While at Citizens, he also served as Financial Principal and Treasurer of Citizens Investment Services, Inc., and Director of Investment Research and Regional Manager for Institutional and High-Net Worth clients in southern New England and the Mid-Atlantic. Kent has over 20 years of experience directly managing mid-cap and large-cap equity funds. Kent holds a B.S. in Journalism from Syracuse University and an M.S. in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island. \n \nPeter R. Phillips, CFA. As Chief Investment Officer at Washington Trust Wealth Management, Peter leads the firm’s direction for growth equity and trade management oversight. He also manages the research function supporting proprietary equity strategies and the dissemination of key investment information across the business line. Peter plays a major role in formulating investment policy and communicates point of view to the public through quarterly webinars and special regional presentations to accountants, attorneys, and other centers of influence.  Peter joined Washington Trust Investors in 2007 bringing with him over 17 years of equity research and portfolio management experience. Peter holds a degree in finance and communications from Syracuse University and earned a M.S. in finance with high distinction from Bentley College.
