Tames, JD\n \nBIO: Pamela C. Tames, JD, is the Executive Director of  Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. PLAN is a 501 (c) (3) organization which serves people with disabilities, helping to preserve assets, to protect access to public benefits, and to live well. PLAN provides personalized guidance on financial expenditures, including access to special needs trusts and pooled trusts. \n\n Pam has over 20 years of experience developing and leading programs in the nonprofit, health, legal and human services sectors, serving vulnerable individuals and families. Pam has engaged in individual and policy advocacy, presented at professional conferences, and published several journal articles as well as a book chapter. Her compassionate promotion of and caring for the health and wellbeing of others – particularly people with disabilities – has defined her career. Pam aims to raise awareness of the services and care that PLAN provides, and to expand its reach among persons with disabilities.\n\n Pam earned her JD from New York University School of Law, where she was Senior Staff Editor of the Annual Review of American Law and recipient of two public interest grants.  She also holds a Bachelor’s degree, with Outstanding Academic Achievement, in Political Science, from Binghamton University.  In 2011, Pam was named by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as one of the Top Women in Law.\n \nSPONSOR:\n \n\n \n \n
